Dani Schaumann's professional profile

}  Dani Schaumann has 30 years of experience in managing companies and projects, as well as serving on Boards of Directors in the Int'l Financial arena.  Dani's experience was matured mainly in Italy, partially in the United States, and - since 2004 - in emerging markets such as India, China, Russia, Turkey and Israel.

}  After graduating in Economics at Bocconi University in Milan (1980), Dani initially worked in Corporate Finance, followed by the Asset Management business; he occupied various positions including Product Development, Training, Marketing, and Strategic planning.

}  From 1986 to 1996, Dani worked for Prime Group (Fiat - Monte Paschi Siena Bank), attaining the position of Head of Marketing & Product Development. In 1997, he was appointed CEO of Zurich Investments SIM, a Financial Advisors company, controlled by the Swiss Insurance Group Zurich Financial Service. In 2000, Dani became the General Manager of Pioneer Investment Management SGR (UniCredit Group). He was a member of the Int’l Management Committee and the director of the following companies:   Pioneer Asset Management SA  (Luxembourg Mutual Funds company), Pioneer Alternative Investment Management SGR – Vice President (Hedge Funds company),  UniCredit Capital Italia Advisory Company SA (JV with Capital International US), and  Credit RAS Previdenza SIM (Pension Fund company - JV with Allianz-Ras)

}  In 2004, Dani was appointed Deputy CEO for the Pioneer Emerging Market Division, in charge of creating new Pioneer Investments companies in some of the most promising emerging markets through JV, acquisitions or NewCo.  During that time, Dani was director of the following companies:  Pioneer Alternative Investments, Israel - Chairman;   Pioneer Investment Management, Russia;  Yapi Kredi Yonetimi Portfoy, Turkey.

}  After 10 noteworthy years in Pioneer Investments and after having founded - among others - Pioneer India and Pioneer Russia, in 2009 Dani got the idea that creating synergies between the two countries he knew best represented a great opportunity: this is when he founded his own company - SchaDa Consulting.
